Briefcase Studio is a real estate marketing agency for companies that sell to the real estate industry: proptech platforms, lenders, property managers, and operators. We focus on owned media, meaning newsletters, video, and data content, because those channels compound. Retainers run $3,000 to $6,000 per month.
Search for a real estate marketing agency and most results sell leads to individual agents: IDX websites, Facebook ads for buyers, and postcard drips. That is a fine business, but it is not what we do.
Briefcase Studio works with businesses whose customers are real estate professionals. If you sell software to property managers, loans to investors, data to brokers, or services to operators, your marketing problem is B2B. You need trust, education, and repeated presence in front of a small, skeptical market. That is where we specialize.
Every engagement is scoped to the channel that will move your pipeline. A common setup looks like this:
Paid social costs keep rising and organic reach on most platforms keeps shrinking. An email list is an asset you own. A good real estate newsletter can become the first thing your buyers read on a Tuesday morning, and that habit is worth more than a month of boosted posts.
We know this from running Square Footage, our own weekday newsletter of the top US real estate stories, with more than 35,000 readers. We built that audience with the same editorial standards we bring to client work.
Briefcase was founded by Brad Cartier, who previously led marketing at Stessa, Hostfully, and FundMore. Those companies sell to landlords, short-term rental managers, and lenders, which is why our work skews toward clients selling into those same markets.
We stay small on purpose. You work directly with senior people, not an account manager relaying notes to juniors.
We agree on metrics in the first two weeks. For a newsletter, that is usually list growth, open and click rates, and replies or demo requests. For video and data content, it is engagement on target accounts and how often sales uses the assets. We report monthly and drop formats that are not pulling their weight.
We do not promise rankings or lead counts we cannot control. We promise a consistent shipping schedule and honest reporting.
Do you run ads? We plan paid distribution for content, but we are not a media buying shop.
Do you work with individual agents? Rarely. We focus on companies selling to the industry.
What does it cost? Most retainers fall between $3,000 and $6,000 per month. See our pricing page for details.
